Graduate level: 'Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of strategies for differentiating teaching to meet the specific learning needs of students across the full range of abilities'.
I believe that I have met the graduate requirements of this standard as evidenced below.
My knowledge for differentiating teaching to meet students' diverse needs has been gained through topics studied in my Masters of Teaching:
I have also read articles and watched You Tube clips of Dr.Carol Tomlinson describing and demonstrating best practice for differentiating in the classroom.
I have applied this knowledge in my practice.
I use the guides below when creating tasks and assessments.

Example One
As part of a literature unit for Year Two students, we looked at the book, 'Room on the Broom' by Julia Donaldson. Once familiar with the story and its characters we wanted to create our own. I developed a lesson which would support the literacy needs of some of my students whilst allowing more freedom for others. Lesson plan
Below are photos I took of the characters created by the students.

Example Two
I participated in a three day workshop hosted by the Gifted and Talented Children's Association of South Australia (GTCASA) at Flinders University. This is an annual event for grades 8 to 10 providing enrichment activities and opportunities to meet other gifted students from all over SA.
From informal conversations with the students I gained an insight into their learning experiences at school and what positive strategies I can use as a teacher to make these experiences positive.
I have a growth mindset and believe that all students can achieve success given the right environment and learning strategies.
I have been inspired by this video as it reminds me of the importance of differentiating in ways that enables ALL students to achieve success.
